Deusser Wins World Cup In Florida
German rider Daniel Deusser has won the $300,000 FEI World Cup Grand Prix CSI 5* at the FTI Consulting Winter Festival in Wellington, Florida.

Deusser was riding the striking grey Cornet d'Amour who is owned by Stephex Stables and Pedro Veniss, who put in an incredibly fast jump off time to inch ahead of a very tough field of competitors which included Great British riders Ben Maher and Nick Skelton.

In what was a thrilling competition only eight riders went clear into the jump off with four riders jumping double clear, making it all the more intense.

Ben Maher (GBR) was riding Jane Clark's horse Cella to finish in second place after posting a fast score of 40.12 seconds, with Alvaro de Miranda (BRA) riding the Belgian Sports Horse AD Rahmannshof's Bogeno finishing in third place on a final jump off time of 40.46 seconds.

Nick Skelton riding the ever popular KWPN bay stallion Big Star who is owned by Beverly Widdowson cleared the course in an impressive time of 41.01 leaving them in fourth.
