Horse Of The Year Show (International Horse Show)
This is an excellent competition where the very top riders and horses compete in their chosen fields of Show Jumping and Showing.

Other Events
Horse Of the Year Show also has Pony Club Mounted Games, Harness Racing and the Shetland Grand National.

About Hoys
The event first began in 1949 and is one of the biggest and most respected competitions that is held throughout the year. The competition runs over 4 days with daytime and evening performances with many different Showing and Show Jumping competitions held on each day.

  • Show Jumping classes include the Puissance, Speed and Accumulator classes amongst many others.
  • Showing classes include Working Hunter, Harness, Lead Rein and Cob classes amongst many others.

Displays
On offer there are also displays such as Dressage, Heavy Horse and the Household Cavalry all of which are excellent viewing.

 

Shops
There are many shops to go round and also plenty of food and drink opportunities.

The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) is located in Birmingham, England just off the M42 with plenty of car parking available.
