Vladimir Heavy Draught Horse
This is a lovely looking horse, has an excellent temperament as well as being strong and energetic making it a very useful draught horse.

Originates
The breed originates in Moscow, Russia.

Height
Height is around 15 to 16.3 HH.

Colour
Vladimir Heavy horses can be bay, black and chestnut.

Conformation

History
This breed has had influences from Clydesdale, Shire, Cleveland Bay and Ardennais  to give the end result of a powerful hard working  horse with a gentle nature.  It was not recognized as a breed until 1946 and is much suited to draught work.

Uses
The breed is mainly used for working the land and pulling Trokia sleighs in its native land.
