Klimke Leads Dressage At Luhmuhlen
Germany's Ingrid Klimke is the current leader after the dressage phase during the 4* horse trials at Luhmuhlen riding the stunning Tabasco TSF.

Closely behind Klimke on 34 penalty points is Lucinda Fredericks who has returned well to competition following a fall earlier in the year which left her sidelined, Fredericks performed 36.7 penalties riding Flying Finish which puts them just ahead of Andrew Nicholson riding the impressive Mr Cruise Control who are currently lying in third place.

Great Britain's Zara Phillips performed a solid test on High Kingdom to leave them in fourth place with Olympic teammate Nicola Wilson and the ever popular Opposition Buzz in 11th place.

Also in contention is Jonathan Paget (NZL) who recently won the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials this time riding Bullet Proof a horse who is inexperienced at 4* competition.

The cross country course looks as big and technical as ever with plenty of testing questions all around it which include the first water complex the DHL Paket Komplex at fence 4 and the HSBC Complex at fences 9, 10, 11, 12 and the Jeep big four Station at 19 all providing horse and riders with plenty to do. Andrew Nicholson riding Rathmoyle King is the first out on the course with dressage leader Ingrid Klimke and Andrew Nicholson's Mr Cruise Control amongst the last riders to go.
