Macmillan Chosen As Blenheim Charity
The nominated charity at this years Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will Macmillan in recognition of the events former event secretary Juliette Brindley who sadly died last year after a long battle with cancer.

The horse trials will also be awarding a special cup in her honour which will be presented to the most stylish combination of horse and rider at the final horse inspection, an honour that I'm sure everyone will be wanting to win.

This year the dates of the event will run from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th of September and will include the CCI*** competition for experienced horses and the CIC*** class for 8 and 9 year old horses. The dressage will take place for both classes on the first two days of competition followed by cross country on Saturday for the CCI*** and show jumping for the CIC***, followed on Sunday by show jumping for the CCI*** and cross country for the CIC***.

This popular event will also feature the entertaining High Jump Challenge which was last year won by Tom Robinson riding Shannondale and the Bare Back Jumping Class which was last year won by Elizabeth Mantel.

Blenheim also offers a great chance to do some retail therapy with plenty of shops available from clothing and riding apparel to art and furniture there is plenty to choose from.
