Florida Success For Ben Maher
British show jumper Ben Maher is currently having great success whilst competing in Florida in the Winter Equestrian Festival which runs for 12 weeks until the end of March and awards a staggering $7 million in prize money throughout the course of the circuit.

Maher has won the lucrative $100,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix riding the impressive grey mare Cella who is owned by Jane F. Clark. The pair finished just ahead of Brazilian Rodrigo Pessoa who took second place and British rider Gemma Paternoster who was riding Osiris for third.

Ben Maher also won the $82,000 Adequan CSI 2* Grand Prix that was designed by Bob Ellis and took place on Saturday the 9th. Ben was aboard 12 year old KWPN gelding Urico and put in a fast clear jump off time to finish just ahead of Ireland's Shane Sweetnam who finished in second in what was a very competitive field of riders that also included Beezie Madden (USA) and McLain Ward (USA).
