Germany Wins Team Gold At Europeans
The recent European show jumping Championships in Madrid have been won by the Germany team, who looked strong throughout the competition.

Ludger Beerbaum, Janne-Frederike Meyer, Carsten Otto Nagel and Marco Kutscher all put in outstanding performances to secure the Gold, closely followed by the French team in Silver and the British team in Bronze thanks to an excellent performance by Nick Skelton and his fantastic grey Carlo.

The leaderboard changed considerably during the course of the competition with the Netherlands at one point in Silver position. However after the French and British teams both posted excellent scores the Netherlands dropped into fourth place after disappointing rounds.

For the individual competition the Gold medal went to Rolf-Goran Bengtsson riding the impressive Ninja La Silla, followed by Germany's Carsten Otto Nagel in Silver riding Corradina and Britain's Nick Skelton in Bronze riding the stunning grey Carlo.
