Lennon Wins Olympia Grand Prix
The top class competition at Olympia Horse Show was this year won by Dermott Lennon (IRL) who performed a brilliant and very fast clear round to take the competition.

The formidable competition is run over a 1.60 m track on the final day of the show jumping competitions at Olympia and had several leading international riders taking part from all around the world.

Lennon was riding the talented bay mare Loughview Lou-Lou who performed a superb clear jump off in 37.84 seconds to take the class, closely followed by Manuel Anon for Spain, riding Rackel Chavannaise who also went clear in the jump off in 38.08 seconds.

Britain's Peter Charles riding the chestnut stallion Murkas Nevada performed a 39.21 jump off to leave them just behind Anon in third position, in this tense and enthralling competition where faults as ever proved costly.

After the Grand Prix prize giving spectators where able to enjoy the lively and very entertaining Christmas Finale a wonderful finish to the weeks hotly contested competitions.
