Oliver Townend Wins The HSBC FEI Classics
The HSBC Classics incorporates the top 5 international 4* Horse Trials with points being awarded to the top 10 riders at each of the events.

The events comprised of The Rolex Kentucky Three day event, the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, Luhmuhlen, The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials and most recently Les Etoiles de Pau.

Oliver Townend who won Badminton and Burghley and came 8th in Kentucky and at Pau, ended the series 12 points ahead of his rivals to claim the $150,000 top prize.

Dirk Schrade was second having gained points by coming 3rd at Luhmuhlen and having recently won at Les Etoiles de Pau.

  • 1st place Oliver Townend (Great Britain)
  • 2nd place - Dirk Schrade (Germany)
  • 3rd place - Andreas Dibowski (Germany)
  • 4th place - William Fox-Pitt (Great Britain)
  • 5th place - Sam Griffiths (Australia)
