FEI Permits The Use Of Phenylbutazone
The FEI have ruled in favour of allowing Phenylbutazone which is an anti-inflammotory and pain killer to be permitted in competition within a certain low level.

The drug Phenylbutazone more commonly known as "Bute" is totally banned by the British Horseracing Authority and its allowance on the International Equestrian Federation's permitted drugs list could not only be a welfare concern but could also be open to abuse and damage the clean sport image that the FEI has been working towards.
