  • The winner of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trial was Oliver Townend.
• Chatsworth Horse Trials
  • The horse trials were cancelled due to ground and weather concerns The competition was to include the World Cup Qualifier, CIC*** and Advanced classes.
• Queens Award For Equestrianism
  • The trustees at the British Horse Society have awarded this honour to Jane Holderness- Roddam.
